That's great BUT what was the final position of the key relative to the charger which was successful? You tried lots of configurations but which one worked?

I have a cubic mini on board our 34’ boat. Absolutely love it. We have no problem with the sot on the window, all you need to do is pull the old burnt/burning wood to the front when filling with new wood. That cleans the window automatically for you so you can see the flames. I also used Cubic mini’s fire protection plates and wall mount, it saved a hell of a lot of room & weight. It truly is the best thing for heating up our boat on cold damp days. Warren s/y Legend

Nice build, quite different than what I have going on but I have quite different needs. I do mostly weekend trips, longest maybe one week. I also don't plan to make so much food by myself. Diesel heater is definitely something I need as I live in cold country (Finland). Biggest difference is that all my constructions must be easy to remove. My Sprinter is registered as a cargo truck (very low taxes compared to van) so it must be able to carry cargo. All, the bed and the kitchen, are fixed with load lashing lines, no bolts allowed. By the way, you should have 12 V TV, using inverter is not efficient, the high voltage is slowed down inside the TV again.

Great video ! So how long does it take to charge the unit from low to high with the engine running ?

If you have lithium then you'd have to have a charge controller anyway. So your smart switch ain't wrong but it's only correct about connecting directly to the batteries.

Great video thank you! I always thought it was odd that people say you can't clean a dpf. Odd because we worked for Eminox who make dpf filter systems for heavy goods and PSv etc. every year the Filter is swapped out and the dirty one sent to eminox to get cleaned. It's about time car manufacturers or exhaust companies offered a cleaning service (maybe they do, I've no idea)

Dodo mat also sell recycled plastic bottle insulation and in larger rolls than B&Q’s Dial, which coincidentally is just a made up name by B&Q’s sister company Castorama in France. They have a number of companies under the Kingfisher Company, like Screwfix, Bricodepot, Castorama etc. They also made up the name Cook and Lewis as they thought it sounded like a bespoke manufacturer brand but it’s good old B&Q’s own .
